During an interview, Tadashi, a young Spanish-Japanese actor who plays female characters in a theatrical practice similar to kabuki, will return to the past to relive his most intimate memories.
Adrià Guxens (Tarragona, 1992) graduated cum laude in Journalism from UAB and in Film Directing from ESCAC. His first student short film, The Door, was selected at the Toronto Festival (TIFF KIDS) in 2018. That same year, he presented An Instant, which now has over 1 million views on YouTube. In 2019, after his first trip to China, he premiered I Don’t Think It Is Going to Rain at ZINEBI, which received a Silver Biznaga at the Málaga Film Festival. In the following years, he released new shorts that continue exploring the Chinese-Spanish relationship, such as A Distant Noise (D’A) and A Hakka Song (Trento). In 2024, he premiered his latest short film, Kokuhaku, at the Sitges Festival.
