Two alpinists, Ola and Bole, had set out for the adventure of their life: the winter ascent of the dangerous Messer-Schmidt route. Ola made short notes about what happened on the ascent until they had to give up of the summit. Desperate, losing hope that they will survive, they imagine happier scenario in which they could be. Film fullfills their wishes and so begins the good old quest for a better life.
Born on 18 of December 1989. in Split, Croatia. After finishing Classical Gymnasium, she began to study Comparative Literature and Czech Language on Faculty of Humanities and Social Studies on University of Zagreb. In 2011 she also enrolled in study of Animated Film and New Media on Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb. In 2015 she graduated from the study of Comparative Literature, defending the thesis “Time in the Film Adaptation of a Fairy Tale”. In year 2016 she also graduates on Academy of Fine Arts. The result was student film named “Why”. From 2008 Iva Božić is active member of Croatian Mountain Rescue Service. During studies she also became member of film clubs Kinoklub Zagreb, Klubvizija SC. When she has “not much” obligations, Iva Božić likes to go rock climbing, mountaineering, shoot photos, paint, write stories or poems, watch and analyze films.
