A welfare institution for the disabled founded by a pastor. Here, long cast aside by society and nowhere to go, people with disability have been subject to physical and sexual abuse behind the veil, with their basic human rights ignored and trampled upon. At the institution, however, Soohee, suffering from cerebral palsy, falls in love with Minsoo who also suffers from the same illness. Despite its restrictive and repressive environment of the institution, they struggle to find happiness in the midst of their plight. An investigation into the malpractices of the institution is launched following a petition by a volunteer worker, who, after discovering inadvertently that Soohee has been pregnant, suspects that sexual abuse has taken place. Irrespective of her wish, Soohee is taken to other institution where she, as a victim of sexual abuse, is deemed well protected. However, for Soohee, a different form of confinement awaits her new life.
