A world artificially deprived of sleep, floating between dreams and reality.

Since 2003, Yann Bertrand and Damien Serban’s films display a visual search for narrative and sensory cinema. Chrysalide (2005) is their first independent common project with an approach of digital techniques such as the polygon figure, architecture and the CGI software mistakes. In 2008 they produced Silken, a film exploring the feelings of a man who remains in his mother’s womb, and the same year they founded Absinthe Studio. They just finished the short film Asomnia, entirely shot with a mobile phone, and are now working on their next film.
