Dario Dunatov holds a Master’s degree in Sociology, and he graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split with a thesis on the Social Context of the Origin and Development of Croatian Film. He is an independent cultural journalist, (contributing to platforms such as ziher.hr, vizkultura.hr, croatian-photography.com, kulturpunkt.hr), and acts as a film selector for the Mediterranean Film Festival in Split. He also co-created and hosts the radio programme Slobodno lajanje on the community station KLFM. His essay “Do Films Really Have an ‘Expiry Date’?” was included in the Croatian language reader Snaga riječi 7, edited by Anita Šojat.
